Portable GUI project

To deploy the GUI in other environments, we have to ensure that there are no priors or biases that will prevent the GUI to work in another environment, such as filesystem hierarchies, paths or options that cannot be configured without modifying the current code.

This is something that @ltenorio can do as he gets familiarised with the code but that will require to be tested in a different environment.

Portable release plan:

• Provide the new API to TMU
• Prepare a more portable version of the GUI
• Recover the conversation with Henrik about how to deploy in Climate DT
• At this point we could maybe also share the GUI with TMU, so that they see something soon
• At this point we can think about how to open the GUI outside, change the project name
• Deploy the GUI in the Climate DT
• Time for refactoring and more costly developments, while we solve issues
