Load - specify xmin/xmax ymin/ymax for interpolation

Can an option be added to Load() so that the user can specify the initial lonmin/latmin and the increment when interpolating the data? This could be done using the xfirst, xinc and yfirst, yinc options from CDO (unless I have misunderstood something).
