Checking the code I understand that your approach only copies data in the exp folder structure, then not possible to copy observations or reanalysis right? Also it doesn't check the additional datasets right?

I can share my approach in this or other repo, I use ESMVal's API which has the pro that is more flexible and get all the possibilities and con that you need ESMValTool to run it, so you can't run it directly in a transfer machine
