Collect() runs on HPC

ahorequested to merge
develop-Collect_onhpc into master

To allow Collect() to run on HPCs and combine chunk .Rds files there. Same purpose as !170 (closed) but since the functions are quite different from that branch now, it's easier to start with the current master.
